You can erase your YumeBee account and everything attached to it yourself, from inside the app, in about a minute. No email, no support ticket, no waiting period. This page explains exactly how, and exactly what happens.

Uninstalling the app on its own does not delete your account. Use the steps above first if you want your data gone.

No and no. Deletion runs immediately and is irreversible. There's no 30-day grace window, no archive, and nothing to restore from.
No. Account deletion is entirely self-service inside the app. If you genuinely can't get into your account — lost phone, already uninstalled — email legal@yumebee.com from your recovery email or with the phone number you signed up with, and we'll verify it's yours and delete it for you. There's no charge.
No. Uninstalling removes the app and its local data from your phone, but the account stays on our servers. Delete the account from Settings first.
They'll see you disappear from their friends list, and groups you were in get a short system note that you left. We don't send anyone an announcement beyond that.
They expire on the recipients' devices about 24 hours after they were sent, like every YumeBee message. We can't reach into someone else's phone, and we hold no copy to delete on your behalf.
The Privacy Policy lists every category of data, how long it's kept, and what end-to-end encryption keeps us from seeing.
