Why people choose YumeBee

Privacy that's always onEncryption, 24-hour deletion and screenshot blocking aren't settings you have to find.
Nothing keptNo chat history, no backups, no saved archive. A lost phone holds a day of chat at most.
Quiet notificationsAlerts say who messaged you, never what they said.
No ads, everNo advertising SDKs, no ad identifiers, and your data is never sold.

YumeBee and Snapchat

Snapchat is the closest in spirit: both are built around moments that don't stick around. YumeBee's winks are view-once photos and videos from the in-app camera, and wink streaks count the days you keep winking each other, much like Snaps and Snapstreaks.

The difference is what's protected and what's kept. On YumeBee, text, photos, videos and voice messages are all end-to-end encrypted, not just Snaps. Screenshots in chats are blocked rather than reported. There's no Memories-style archive, so everything is gone after 24 hours. And there are no ads, in your chats or anywhere else.

FAQ

Which messaging app deletes messages by default?

YumeBee deletes every message 24 hours after it's sent, and that can't be turned off. Snapchat deletes Snaps once they're viewed and chats 24 hours after they're viewed, but chats can be saved or set to never delete. WhatsApp, Signal and Telegram keep messages unless you turn on disappearing messages.

Is Snapchat end-to-end encrypted?

Partly. Snaps, the photos and videos you send friends, are end-to-end encrypted; Snapchat's text chats are not. On YumeBee, text, photos, videos and voice messages are all end-to-end encrypted, in one-to-one and group chats.

Is YumeBee a good alternative to Snapchat?

Yes, especially if you use Snapchat to keep up with friends. YumeBee has view-once photos and videos (winks) and daily wink streaks, and goes further on privacy: every chat is end-to-end encrypted, screenshots are blocked, and everything is gone after 24 hours.

Is YumeBee more private than WhatsApp or Signal?

All three use the Signal protocol for end-to-end encryption. YumeBee goes further: every message disappears 24 hours after it's sent, no chat history or backup is kept, screenshots are blocked in chats, notifications never show what was said, and there are no ads.

Try it: YumeBee is free on iPhone and Android.
